THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT - LET'S MAKE 2026 THE YEAR OUR KID'S FUTURE IS SECURED!
Yard Sale
These are just a few ideas to get you started
Have your community donate new or gently used items to your sale. List everything as name your price and be sure to talk about your cause to your customers and let them know where the money is being donated. Use personal stories and connections and emphasize the importance of your sale. This is an amazing way to connect with your community and possibly generate higher and more frequent donations.
Embrace your inner entrepreneur and set up a lemonade stand! This is one of the easiest and fun ways to earn money for your cause and get noticed. Have some help or use your secret family recipe and set up a stand in your driveway, at a yard sale or have your family help you set up in a highly visible area. Create Signs, set your Price, stock up on supplies and Advertise (use social media, neighborhood blogs, or even the media if you have a connection) and remember to talk about your cause to ALL of your customers.your service
Have friends and family (as well as you of course!) bake lots and lots of baked treats, be sure to package them if necessary and bundle them to make purchases more attractive. Check your area for local little league games or outdoor events and inquire if you can do a pop-up bake shop at their event. As always have help if needed and make sure to tell all your customers why you are there and where the money will be donated.

Does your school have a dress code with or without uniforms? Are there certain days that you are allowed to dress down for a cause? Use this amazing and easy opportunity to host a Dress Down day for your cause. Have your classmates donate a small amount and in return they receive a pass to dress down from the normal dress code for that day. Ask the school if you can talk to your classmates or entire school about why you are hosting this day and where you will be donating the money. Also get their permission to post in the school newsletters or paper, and their social media about the event.
This is a perfect opportunity to work with your local public officials, such as your mayor or city council. Ask them to dedicate a day to your cause, inquire about a public proclamation and speak to your local media about covering the event. Small businesses and even your local PD and FD may get involved as well.
Organize a Rally For your Cause, ask your School, State Capitol, Local Stores, or Community to Peacefully gather. Speak openly about your passion, get others involved. Uniting with your community is a great way to spread your message.
